Job Requirements:
• 2+ years’ experience in the hospitality industry as a waiter/waitress or similar role.
• Good knowledge of English language (additional language is preferable).
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers from different cultures.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills.
Job Responsibilities:
• Greet guests upon arrival in the restaurant and take their orders promptly. • Present menus to customers and provide detailed information about each dish when asked by guests. • Serve food items according to the established standards of quality, portion control and presentation set by the restaurant. • Prepare drinks such as coffee, tea or other beverages as requested by customers. • Handle payment transactions accurately when customers are ready to pay their bill. • Clean tables after each guest has finished dining in order to prepare them for the next guest/group of guests quickly. • Ensure that all dishes are served according to health regulations and safety standards of the restaurant. • Monitor stock levels and order supplies when necessary. • Attend staff meetings regularly in order to stay updated on menu changes or new procedures within the restaurant.
