Mechanic – Doha

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Mechanic to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a variety of mechanical systems and equipment. They must possess a broad knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and other associated technologies. The Mechanic must have excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues quickly and work with limited resources.

Skills & Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Mechanic
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to read diagrams and blueprints accurately
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Knowledge of safety procedures when working on machinery
• Ability to work independently or part of a team
• High attention to detail when diagnosing problems
• Knowledge of electrical systems is beneficial but not essential

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Performing routine maintenance checks such as oil changes and lubrication on various machines
• Carry out repairs on mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, hydraulic lifts, pumps etc.
• Diagnose faults using specialised testing equipment such as multimeters or oscilloscopes
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify any potential problems before they become severe
• Repair or replace components when necessary using hand tools or power tools
• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out in accordance with company policies
• Follow safety guidelines when working with machinery or hazardous materials
