Surveyor
Job Description
The Surveyor is responsible for providing professional surveying services to our clients in Doha. The Surveyor will be responsible for conducting surveys of land, buildings, and other structures in order to identify any issues with the land or structures that need to be addressed. The Surveyor must be able to accurately document all survey data, including measurements, elevations, contours and topography. The Surveyor should have the ability to interpret drawings and maps as well as possess strong interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Conducting surveys of land, buildings, or other structures in order to identify any issues with the land or structures that need to be addressed.
• Accurately documenting all survey data including measurements, elevations, contours and topography.
• Interpreting drawings and maps accurately in order to make recommendations on how best to address issues.
• Maintaining accurate records of all survey data collected.
• Assisting with planning projects by providing accurate information on potential site features such as water sources or mineral deposits.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, regulations and safety standards in order to ensure accuracy of all survey work conducted.
• Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team in order to complete tasks quickly and accurately within specified deadlines.

Job Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or related field is required; further qualifications such as a Master’s degree are preferred but not essential for the role depending on experience level.
• At least 3 years’ experience working as a Surveyor or related field is essential for this role; experience working within the Doha area is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge/familiarity of applicable surveying techniques such as GPS systems or total stations is essential for this role; knowledge of GIS systems are also desirable but not essential for the role depending on experience level.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills are essential for this role; strong interpersonal skills are also beneficial when working with clients or colleagues within a team environment.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in order to complete tasks quickly while still maintaining accuracy; must also be able to meet deadlines while adhering to relevant safety standards at all times.
