Job Description:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Driver to join a well established organization in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting personnel, goods and materials in a safe and timely manner. They will also be expected to maintain the vehicles used for transportation in good condition.

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide safe and timely transportation of personnel, goods, materials and equipment as required.
• Ensure that all vehicles used for transportation are in good working condition before use.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws and regulations when driving a vehicle.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary.
• Maintain records such as vehicle logs, route sheets, fuel consumption logs etc.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on vehicles as required.
• Report any mechanical problems or repairs that may be required on vehicles to the appropriate authority.
• Ensure that all vehicle documents (registration papers, insurance papers etc.) are up to date at all times.
• Adhere to safety regulations at all times while driving a vehicle or handling materials or equipment related to the job duties of a driver.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor/HR department.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred although not mandatory for this position.
• Must possess a valid UAE driver’s license with at least 3 years of experience in driving cars and light commercial vehicles in UAE roads . • Ability to read maps and use navigation systems such as GPS is essential .
• Good knowledge of local traffic rules and regulations .
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills .

Duties:
The Driver’s primary duty is to transport personnel safely from one place to another using company-owned vehicles such as cars and light commercial vehicles within set time frames while following all applicable traffic laws and regulations along the way . The Driver must also take responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness of their assigned vehicle while ensuring that it is always in good working condition before each use . The Driver should also have basic knowledge of basic car maintenance such as changing tires, adding oil , checking fluid levels etc . In addition , they must ensure that all documents associated with their assigned vehicle (registration papers , insurance papers etc .) are always kept up-to-date .
