Job Description for Mechanical Engineer

Al-Kuwait is looking for an experienced and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The position offers a competitive salary of 1200 and the opportunity to work with a world-class team of professionals.

Responsibilities:
• Designing, constructing, installing, testing and maintaining mechanical systems.
• Investigating mechanical failure or breakage of systems through diagnostic testing.
• Developing and evaluating plans for new or improved mechanical systems.
• Reviewing drawings, plans and specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborating with other engineers, architects, drafters and other personnel as required.
• Estimating material, labor costs and completion times for projects.
• Monitoring project progress against timelines and budgets.
• Analyzing test data and reports to identify areas in need of improvement or modification.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution required.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer with at least 5 years of experience desired.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, practices, materials and equipment used in the design/construction of mechanical systems is required.
• Excellent analytical skills to identify problems quickly and develop efficient solutions. • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines is essential. • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels is essential. • Valid driver’s license is preferred but not essential • Fluency in English language is essential; knowledge of Arabic language is advantageous but not essential
