Petroleum Engineer in Dubai, UAE


We are looking for a Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the oil and gas industry to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly operations.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in petroleum engineering or a related field, and experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred. The candidate should have strong knowledge of the process of drilling, production, safety regulations, and environmental regulations in the industry. Additionally, they should understand how to manage personnel and processes to ensure efficient operation of the oilfield operations while maintaining safety standards.

The Petroleum Engineer will need to be able to work with other professionals in order to oversee daily operations including drilling activities, production facilities maintenance, reservoir evaluation, well testing and optimization. They must also be able to interpret data gathered from field observations and recommend adjustments for improved performance. The successful applicant must also be able to create detailed reports on drilling activities and analyze potential risks associated with such activities.

Excellent communication skills are essential for this position as it requires frequent interaction with other departments within the company as well as external stakeholders such as suppliers or regulatory agencies. The applicant must also be willing to travel occasionally for meetings with clients or potential partners.
