Pharmacist – Doha, Qatar

Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional Pharmacist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of excellent performance in the field of pharmacy and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy. This includes providing superior customer service, dispensing medications accurately and safely, ensuring that all safety regulations are followed, as well as working with other departmental staff to ensure smooth operations.

Job Responsibilities:
• Dispense medications accurately and safely in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering any questions or concerns about medications or treatments.
• Work with physicians to discuss patient treatment plans and provide advice on the most appropriate medications.
• Monitor inventory levels and order new supplies on a regular basis.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed in the pharmacy including proper handling of hazardous materials such as drugs.
• Maintain accurate records of all prescriptions filled, including dosage information and patient orders.
• Participate in continuing education programs to remain current on developments in the field of pharmacy.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university is required.
• Must be licensed as a Pharmacist by the State Board of Pharmacy where practicing (foreign applicants should be eligible to obtain licensure).
• Demonstrated ability to use computer systems for processing prescriptions is preferred (experience with Epic software is a plus).
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service; must be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities; must be able to think quickly on their feet when handling complex patient inquiries or challenging situations that may arise in the pharmacy setting.
