Welder
A Welder is required for a busy engineering and welding firm in Jeddah. The successful candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, and will be able to work with both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
The role requires the delivery of quality welds, ensuring the health and safety of yourself and others, whilst meeting tight deadlines. The ideal candidate should possess excellent manual dexterity, be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, and have a flexible approach to working hours.

The main duties include:
- Reading blueprints/drawings as well as determining the appropriate techniques for welding components in accordance with specifications;
- Setting up welding machines based on the material type, thicknesses and job requirements;
- Preparing materials for welding by grinding or cutting;
- Performing MIG/TIG welding operations on various metals;
- Inspecting finished welds to ensure they meet standards;
- Maintaining all tools, machines, equipment and supplies used in welding processes;
- Repairing broken or cracked parts using arc or gas welding equipment.

The successful applicant must possess:
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in MIG/TIG Welding;
• Good knowledge of different metals and their properties;
• An understanding of relevant health & safety regulations;
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers & micrometers;
• Good eye-hand coordination & manual dexterity.

The salary is 1600 SAR per month. This position is open to foreigners who have relevant qualifications and experience.
