Light Driver Job Description

A Light Driver is sought to join a leading business in Dubai. We offer an attractive salary of 1700 AED, and are open to hiring a foreigner for this role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods, products and/or staff between locations in a safe and timely manner. They must have a good knowledge of the local area and be able to navigate efficiently. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently without supervision, as well as work in a team environment when required.

Responsibilities:
- Operate light vehicles such as cars, vans or small trucks with due care and attention;
- Maintain the vehicle in good working condition;
- Ensure that all safety regulations are followed;
- Transport products, materials or staff safely between locations;
- Complete necessary paperwork related to vehicle operations;
- Follow routes and time schedules according to instructions given by supervisors;
- Ensure that all cargo is loaded/unloaded safely following health & safety regulations;
- Report any accidents, incidents or traffic violations;

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid driver's license (UAE);
- At least 2 years of experience driving light vehicles such as cars, vans or small trucks;
- Good knowledge of local roads and city routes;
- Ability to follow instructions closely; - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment; - Must be punctual and reliable at all times.
