We are currently seeking a Crane Operator to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment such as cranes in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a person with a high degree of attention to detail, safety awareness and the ability to work independently.
The successful applicant must possess:
• Excellent physical strength and stamina
• Ability to understand instructions from supervisors
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times
• Ability to read technical drawings/blueprints
• Knowledge of local laws related to crane operation
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in the operation of heavy machinery is preferred but not essential.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Operating crane equipment with precision and accuracy on construction sites.
• Observing all safety regulations while operating the cranes.
• Performing daily maintenance checks on the crane machinery/equipment before using it.
• Working closely with other tradespeople, such as electricians and welders, when necessary. • Keeping up-to-date records of crane operations for future reference and maintenance purposes.
Working conditions: • Work hours are typically 8 hours per day, 5 days per week including weekends (Friday & Saturday). • Overtime may be required depending on workloads and deadlines imposed by clients or management team members. • The salary offered is AED 1700 per month plus other benefits as per UAE labor law standards for workers in Sharjah
Other expectations: • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols when operating the cranes • Work cooperatively with other team members in order to complete tasks within deadlines set by supervisors • Understand the importance of working independently without guidance or supervision at times
