Cashier in Abu-Dhabi, UAE
We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. We need a detail-oriented, organized individual who is capable of efficiently and accurately handling cash transactions.
The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience working as a cashier in a retail setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
• Accurately process cash transactions using the POS system.
• Handle money, credit/debit cards, and checks according to the established procedures.
• Balance the daily sales transactions accurately and report any discrepancies immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the check-out area.
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Assist in stocking shelves when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience working as a cashier preferably in retail setting is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail is required for this role.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision or direction is preferred for this role.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs if required by job duties or tasks assigned by management/supervisor.
