We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cashier to join our team in Jabal-Ali. The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented and have excellent communication skills.

The successful applicant should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and capable of working under pressure. They must have accurate cash handling skills, as well as the ability to work with Point of Sale (POS) systems. As a Cashier, you must also be familiar with inventory control procedures and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome customers warmly and explain any promotions or specials
• Process payments such as cash, debit, credit or check transactions
• Answer customer questions regarding store policies and services
• Provide accurate change when applicable
• Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
• Stock shelves, racks and displays with new merchandise
• Help customers by giving them suggestions or opinions on products they wish to purchase
• Keep record of all transactions by entering information into POS system
• Ensure that all items purchased are properly bagged
• Maintain a clean workspace at all times

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working as a Cashier is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of Point of Sale systems is an asset
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays etc.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills
