We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our team in Khawr Fakkan. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in treating physical impairments and helping patients improve their movement and function. We are open to candidates from abroad and can provide the necessary visa documentation.
The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, neurology, bio-mechanics, exercise therapy, manual therapy techniques and electrotherapy modalities. They should also be skilled in assessing patient needs and developing treatment plans in order to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
As our Physiotherapist you will be expected to:
• Examine patients’ medical histories
• Evaluate physical functioning through physical testing
• Diagnose impairments or movement dysfunction
• Design treatment plans according to the patient’s condition
• Educate patients about their condition and home care instructions
• Monitor progress of treatments on a regular basis
• Administer manual therapies such as soft tissue massage or joint mobilizations
• Utilize physical agents such as heat or cold packs, ultrasound or electrical stimulation
• Provide advice on exercise programs or lifestyle modifications
