Carpenter in Dubai, UAE


We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and repairing furniture and other wooden structures or fixtures in our workshop.

The ideal candidate must have excellent knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and methods of construction. They must also have an excellent eye for detail and be able to work as part of a team as well as independently when required. Furthermore, the Carpenter should be physically fit and have the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on material using a ruler, pencil, chalk, or scribe
- Select the appropriate woods or other materials
- Assemble cut and shaped parts into furniture or fixtures
- Install fixtures such as windows, door frames, sash weights, etc.
- Finish furniture with coats of sealant or polish using hand tools
- Repair furniture by replacing broken parts or reinforcing joints
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies such as wood, glue, varnish etc.
- Perform other related duties as required by management

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in a workshop environment
- Knowledgeable in craftsmanship methods such as joinery techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings and plans accurately
- Excellent physical strength with the ability to lift heavy loads
- Attention to detail with excellent finishings skills
- Good communication skills with the ability to work independently or in a team setting

Salary: 1300 AED per month (including benefits). We are open to considering immigrant applicants for this role.
