Knowledge of electrical wiring, instruments, and calibrations is essential. A background in industrial engineering with experience in instrument installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting is desired. Expertise with PLCs and other electronic control systems is highly valued. The ideal candidate should also have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and have the ability to work well under pressure. Job Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the Instrument Technician will be to inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair all mechanical/electrical instruments that are used in the facility’s operations. The technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting any technical issues related to instrumentation systems and their components as needed.
