We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. As an Optometrist, you will provide exceptional care to patients by performing routine eye exams to diagnose vision problems, assist in the selection of eyewear, and provide advice on contact lenses and other vision-related products. You will also be responsible for educating patients on preventative eye care and providing guidance on how to maintain good visual health.

In this role, you should be detail-oriented and knowledgeable about eye diseases, treatments and vision corrective devices. You should also be able to handle difficult patients in a professional manner. If you have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, we’d like to meet you.

Your responsibilities include:
• Examining eyes for signs of injury or disease
• Diagnosing vision problems
• Prescribing glasses or contact lenses
• Assisting in the selection of eyewear
• Educating patients on preventative eye care
• Referring patients to appropriate medical specialists when necessary.

The successful candidate will have a valid license from the Ministry of Health in Al-Kuwait as well as at least one year of experience as an optometrist. An understanding of modern optometric technologies is also preferred. We are ready to consider hiring a foreign candidate without experience or qualifications if they can demonstrate a commitment and aptitude for the role. The salary for this position is 1400 KD per month.
