You will need to make sure that the cargo is loaded properly and securely, ensure the truck is in good working condition, and maintain the required paperwork associated with transport. You will also need to adhere to traffic laws and regulations while driving.

To be successful as a Truck Driver you should have strong driving skills, knowledge of cargo safety regulations, excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You should also have experience in completing long-distance travels in a timely manner.
