Excavator operator in Doha, Qatar


Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating excavators and other heavy machinery, helping complete excavation projects on schedule and with safety measures in mind. The Excavator Operator should have a valid driver’s license and should be comfortable working in all weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience with all types of excavators, including long-reach machines, and should be knowledgeable about the latest industry trends in excavation.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavators and other heavy duty machinery to complete excavation jobs
- Work with supervisor to ensure that projects are completed on schedule
- Follow safety protocols to ensure that no workers or bystanders get injured
- Ensure that all equipment is well maintained and serviced regularly
- Monitor job progress, make adjustments as needed, and assist with any potential problems
- Manage work orders, coordinate materials delivery, and provide support for the construction team
- Maintain records of job progress, equipment maintenance, safety protocols etc.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Previous experience operating excavators or related heavy machinery
- Ability to safely operate machinery while adhering to safety protocols
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Knowledge of industry trends in excavation work
