Accountant
We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company and providing financial advice to senior management.

Job Description:
The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements and reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with budget preparation, analyzing financial data and trends, conducting audits, developing internal control policies, preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with local and international laws.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions related to the company’s finances.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Manage accounts payable and receivable including invoicing customers for goods or services sold.
• Assist with budget preparation by researching economic trends, tracking actual performance against budgeted targets, providing recommended adjustments as needed.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends or issues that need attention by senior management.
• Conduct periodic audits on accounting processes to ensure accuracy; suggest changes when necessary.
• Develop internal control policies that ensure compliance with local and international laws; review policies regularly and update as needed.
• Prepare annual tax returns in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy of information provided; work closely with external auditors when necessary.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
• 5+ years' experience working in an accounting role preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP principles
• Working knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) required
• Excellent analytical skills • Great attention to detail
