Optometrist – Doha
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team at our practice in Doha. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality eye care services to patients of all ages. You will assess the eyesight of patients, diagnose vision issues, prescribe corrective lenses, and provide advice on eye care.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Examine eyes using ophthalmoscopes and other diagnostic equipment to detect signs of diseases or vision problems
• Prescribe corrective lenses such as eyeglasses or contact lenses based on patients’ visual acuity tests
• Educate patients on proper eye care and answer their questions about their condition or treatment
• Monitor the progress of existing vision problems or diseases of the eye
• Refer patients to other healthcare professionals when necessary
• Keep up-to-date with advances in optometry technology and techniques

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Optometry from an accredited college or university is required
• Valid state license/registration to practice as an Optometrist is required
• Excellent knowledge of optometry procedures, techniques, equipment operation principles and safety standards is a must

Experience
Previous experience working as an Optometrist is preferred but not mandatory. We are also willing to consider recent graduates with strong academic results.
