Truck driver in Doha, Qatar


We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to their destinations in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license with prior experience driving trucks and trailers. We are looking for someone who is reliable and able to meet tight deadlines while maintaining safety standards at all times. They should be knowledgeable of the Doha area and have good customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
• Operate truck safely, adhering to all laws, regulations, and company policies
• Inspect vehicle daily before departing on routes
• Follow delivery schedules and instructions from supervisors
• Maintain log books of trip sheets accurately and submit them as per company policy
• Coordinate with customers regarding goods delivery or pick-up times/locations
• Assist in loading/unloading goods where necessary
• Ensure goods are handled properly during loading/unloading process
• Conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks (e.g. oil levels) to ensure safe operation of truck at all times
• Keep records of fuel consumption, mileage, maintenance expenses etc.

Requirements:
• Valid truck driving license with clean driving record • Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role • Good knowledge of traffic laws and regulations in the Doha area • Demonstrated ability to drive manual shifts • Good customer service skills • Ability to work independently or with minimum supervision • Good physical health • Ability to lift heavy objects if needed

Salary: 1700 per month
