We are looking for an experienced and professional Pastry Chef to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes and other baked goods in accordance with the restaurant's recipes and standards.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious baked goods, a minimum of two years' experience in pastry preparation and extensive knowledge of baking techniques and methods. A strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure is essential.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare pastries, desserts and other baked items according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines when preparing food.
• Monitor supplies of ingredients and notify supervisor when new items are needed.
• Ensure that all dishes are presented attractively on plates or trays according to established standards.
• Develop new recipes for pastries, desserts and other baked goods using creative approaches.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Supervise kitchen staff in the absence of the head chef or manager.

Requirements:
• Minimum two years' experience as a Pastry Chef or related position in a professional kitchen environment; experience in an international cuisine is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of baking techniques and methods; ability to develop new recipes is preferred.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure while maintaining quality standards; excellent organizational skills required.
• Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation guidelines; must be able to follow instructions precisely as written on recipes or menus specified by the head chef or manager.

We offer a competitive salary of 1700 AED per month with potential bonuses depending on performance. We are also happy to consider applicants who require sponsorship/immigration support from outside the country if they possess exceptional skills that meet our requirements for this role.
