Carpenter in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE


We are looking for a Carpenter to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The ideal candidate will be experienced and have a passion for delivering excellent work. This role offers a salary of 1000 and we are willing to consider applicants from outside of the country.

The successful applicant will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fixtures, such as furniture, cupboards and doors. This position requires excellent attention to detail, knowledge of carpentry techniques, and strong problem-solving skills.

The duties of the Carpenter include:
• Reading blueprints or drawings to understand specifications
• Measuring and cutting wood accurately using saws, planes and other tools
• Constructing fixtures or structures using nails, screws and other hardware
• Finishing surfaces with paint, varnish or polish
• Assembling furniture using joints such as dowels or glue
• Making repairs or replacements on existing structures
• Maintaining an organized workspace

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
• A minimum 1 year experience in carpentry projects is preferred but not mandatory
• Proven ability to read blueprints, sketches or other instructions accurately
• Expertise in operating hand tools such as drills saws, hammers etc. • Exceptional attention to detail when creating fixtures or structures
• Excellent problem-solving abilities • Ability to work independently when needed • Outstanding physical strength and agility • High school diploma is preferred but not mandatory
