Carpenter Job Summary
We are looking for a professional and skilled Carpenter to join our team in Haur-Fakkan. Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Carpenter is the production of high-quality wood components in accordance with established standards. This will involve cutting, shaping, assembling, installing, finishing and repairing various objects from wood materials. Specific duties include: measuring and marking cutting lines on materials; assembling cut and shaped material using nails, screws, staples or glue; using chisels, planes or electric saws for cutting material; creating furniture pieces such as tables or chairs; installing fixtures such as windows or door frames; repairing furniture or other wooden objects; sanding surfaces before painting; finishing objects by painting or staining them; ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times.
Other Preferences
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English language as well as a positive attitude towards work. Previous experience working with foreign customers would be an advantage but is not essential. Knowledge of additional languages would also be considered an asset.
