Job Description:
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with a passion for problem-solving and creating innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, experience in a related field and be willing to work in a fast-paced environment. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electrical control systems as well as supporting existing products. This role requires the ability to think creatively and develop creative solutions to complex problems.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least 5 years of experience in the same field.
• Working knowledge of the Electrical industry standards and codes such as IEEE, NEC, UL, CSA etc.
• Expertise in design tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN etc.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and on multiple projects at once with minimal supervision.
• Effective problem solving skills and excellent communication skills (written/verbal).
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels including external customers/vendors.

Responsibilities & Duties:
• Designing electrical systems for both new and existing products including power distribution systems, lighting systems, control systems etc.
• Utilizing engineering principles to create innovative solutions that meet customer needs while adhering to safety standards.
• Developing test plans for electrical components/systems ensuring that all aspects of safety are met during the testing process.
• Troubleshooting existing electrical control systems when necessary to identify/resolve issues quickly. • Writing detailed technical reports documenting test results and analysis findings for management review • Assisting other departments in providing technical support when needed • Traveling to customer sites as needed for installation or troubleshooting purposes • Working closely with other team members from various departments to ensure successful completion of projects on time and within budget • Staying up-to-date on new technologies/products related to the industry
