Paramedic - Doha, Qatar

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Paramedic to join our medical team in Doha. This position provides a competitive salary of 1300 QAR per month and the opportunity to work in one of the most vibrant cities in the Gulf region. We will consider applicants who are immigrants as well as those with no previous experience in the role.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing emergency care and life-saving treatments to patients with serious medical conditions. They must also be able to quickly assess a patient's condition, provide pre-hospital medical care, and take steps to ensure their safety until they can be transferred to a hospital or clinic for further medical attention.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have relevant qualifications and certifications from accredited institutions such as: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Certified Paramedic (CP), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Room Technician (ERT). The ideal candidate must also have excellent knowledge of first aid techniques and procedures; effective communication skills; strong problem solving abilities; and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

In addition to being able to provide immediate on-site medical treatment, the successful candidate must also be able to complete paperwork accurately; maintain accurate records; follow up on patient treatments; prepare equipment for use; understand safety protocols; check expiration dates on medication supplies; complete infection control procedures; adhere to safety regulations when transporting patients; liaise with other healthcare professionals; offer emotional support to patients and families; attend regular training sessions on new methods of care delivery; keep abreast of changes in healthcare legislation and regulations; dispense medications as instructed by physicians; prepare documents for insurance reimbursement applications.
