Petroleum Engineer in Dubai, UAE


We are looking for an experienced and motivated Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation and optimization of petroleum engineering operations such as drilling and production activities.

You must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably with a focus on petroleum engineering. A degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field is essential. You will also need excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining effective production systems that maximize profitability while adhering to safety standards. You will develop cost-effective well completion designs, carry out production logging operations, analyze reservoir data to optimize exploitation of petroleum resources, and provide technical support to drilling operations.

Your responsibilities also include liaising with other departments as required to ensure successful project delivery; coordinating with external contractors; managing budgets; analyzing data; preparing technical reports; presenting results at meetings; providing guidance to junior engineers; and monitoring progress against plans.

The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively within a team environment. The ability to work under pressure is essential in this role. We offer an attractive salary package of 1000 per month plus additional benefits associated with working overseas in Dubai.
