Electrician in Doha, Qatar


We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Electrician to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance and repair work on commercial and industrial sites, as well as responding to emergency call outs.

As an Electrician, your duties will include:
• Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures and apparatus
• Inspecting and testing existing electrical systems to identify electrical faults or malfunctions
• Carrying out routine maintenance checks on all installed systems
• Identifying hazards or risks associated with electrical equipment
• Troubleshooting breakdowns or malfunctions on a variety of equipment
• Providing technical advice or assistance to colleagues or customers
• Complying with all relevant legislation, health and safety regulations, codes of practice and company policies

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
• A recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar
• At least 5 years’ experience working as a qualified electrician in a commercial environment
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot quickly and efficiently
• An excellent understanding of relevant regulations such as Health & Safety at Work Legislation (HASAW)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely
