Excavator Operator Job Summary

Requirements for the Candidate
• Knowledge of how to operate an excavator safely and efficiently
• Ability to read and follow instructions on technical documents
• Experience in similar positions is preferred but not required
• A valid driver’s license
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects
• Willingness to work long hours, including evening and weekends if needed
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills with both English and Arabic language proficiency preferred
• Immigrant status considered a plus

Responsibilities of the Excavator Operator
• Ensure that all safety regulations are adhered to while operating the excavator
• Adhere to company policies regarding safety protocols during excavation projects
• Monitor operations of excavators while working on various sites ensuring that they are performing efficiently and safely at all times
• Identify potential hazards or malfunctions on equipment in a timely manner, reporting any issues as soon as possible
• Perform regular maintenance checks on excavators as well as cleaning them when needed
