Excavator Operator Position in Doha
We are currently looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Doha. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing company and help us develop our construction activities in the region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating excavators on construction sites, ensuring that all safety standards are met and that the machinery is well maintained. They will need to have excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.
Requirements:
• Experience operating excavators on construction sites
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations
• Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• A valid driver’s license
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Operate excavators on construction sites according to safety regulations
• Transport machinery to work sites and ensure it is set up properly
• Inspect the machine before use, ensuring it is working properly and report any issues immediately
• Drive vehicles on construction sites as needed for excavation or transportation of materials or personnel
• Monitor the excavation process, providing guidance when necessary to ensure accuracy of results
Desired Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with excavators (preferred) • Ability to work long hours outdoors in all weather conditions • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team • Ability to learn new technologies quickly • Flexibility with shifts/hours if required • Willingness to take initiative when needed
