Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Optometry or related field
• At least one year experience working as an optometrist
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications
• Licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in the State of Qatar

Skills & Duties
• Responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services such as vision testing, contact lenses fitting and diagnosing eye diseases
• Educate patients on their vision problems, eyewear options, contact lenses available etc
• Monitor patient health records both manually and electronically
• Administer medications according to prescription or doctor’s orders
• Manage optical laboratory equipment
• Keep abreast with changes in the field by reading professional publications; attending conferences; establishing personal networks etc
