Optometrist position in Doha

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialized eye care services including vision tests, diagnosing and treating vision conditions, and managing cases of vision loss or injury. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

The Optometrist will be based at our main practice in Doha and will receive a competitive base salary of 1800 per month plus benefits. The position is open to immigrants who are able to demonstrate their qualifications and experience in the field.

The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye exams that involve testing visual acuity, depth perception, colour vision, refractive errors, ocular diseases, binocular vision problems and other conditions affecting the eyes. They will also interpret test results to diagnose eye-related disorders and prescribe corrective lenses or medications as needed.

In addition, the Optometrist will be tasked with educating patients about different aspects of eye health such as how to properly wear contact lenses, good hygiene practices for contact lens wearers and how best to protect eyes from further damage or infection. The Optometrist must also maintain accurate records of patients’ history, examinations and treatment plans.
