Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified Optometrist to join our team in Doha. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional optometry services to our patients and helping them with their vision problems. You will be responsible for carrying out eye examinations and making recommendations on appropriate solutions to improve vision.

Responsibilities:
• Carry out comprehensive eye exams using a variety of equipment (e.g. ophthalmoscopes, retinoscopes, keratometers etc.).
• Analyze results of exams and make recommendations on appropriate corrective solutions (e.g. glasses, contact lenses or other vision aids).
• Provide advice on general eye health and safety measures (e.g. proper use of contact lenses).
• Help patients understand the results of their eye tests and provide them with relevant information about vision problems and solutions available.
• Maintain accurate records of patients’ exams and assist other medical personnel in the diagnosis of eye conditions or diseases.
• Stay up-to-date with advances in optometric technology and treatments by attending seminars, reading scientific journals etc.
• Assist in the research and development of new optometric equipment or treatments when required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry from an accredited university/college
• At least 2 years of experience working as an Optometrist
• Strong knowledge of optometric principles, practices, procedures and techniques
• Familiarity with modern optical equipment (e.g., ophthalmoscopes, retinoscopes etc.)
• Excellent communication skills with patience when dealing with patients
Qualifications: • Must have a valid license to practice optometry in Qatar • Must be fluent in Arabic & English • Excellent customer service skills • Professional attitude & bedside manner
