We are looking for an experienced and reliable Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely management of financial records for the business. This position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as excellent organizational skills.

The successful candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in accounting, be well-versed in accounting principles, and have a working knowledge of bookkeeping processes. They should also possess strong analytical abilities and be able to identify trends in financial data. The ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels is an essential requirement for this role.

Responsibilities include:
• Managing accounts payable/receivable processes and ensuring accuracy of financial data
• Reconciling transactions between bank statements and internal records
• Creating budgets and forecasts, as well as preparing reports on financial performance
• Maintaining records according to company policies, as well as applicable laws and regulations
• Assisting with taxation requirements such as tax payments, filing returns and other reports
• Supporting the Finance Director with other tasks as needed

Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience) is preferred but not required
• At least 2 years’ experience in accounting or related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping processes
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends in financial data
• Good organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels
