We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong interest in books and reading.

The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, maintaining and expanding the library’s collection of books, periodicals, audio and video materials. They will also be responsible for helping patrons find the material they need or want. In addition, they will be expected to provide general library services such as issuing library cards and helping with library activities such as book clubs.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Library Science or any other related field and at least two years of experience working in a library setting. Knowledge of computers, the internet and other modern technologies is essential. Fluency in English is also required; knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.

The successful candidate should be friendly, patient and understanding when dealing with patrons from diverse backgrounds. They must also have strong problem-solving skills and enjoy working with others in a team environment. We offer an attractive salary of 1800 AED per month for this position, which may include additional benefits depending on qualifications and experience.
