We are looking for a driven and motivated Land Surveyor to join our team in Doha. As part of our survey team, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys to determine the size, shape and elevation of land parcels as well as any other relevant information. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and be part of a collegial team that values collaboration and excellence.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem solving skills, excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing, strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Additionally, they must be able to manage their own workload effectively whilst meeting deadlines.

The individual should also possess experience using survey equipment such as total stations, GPS systems, AutoCAD software as well as data collection software such as ESRI ArcGIS or Trimble Access. A degree in surveying or equivalent experience is an advantage but not required.

The position comes with a competitive salary of 1200 USD per month plus benefits including medical coverage and paid vacation days.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying or equivalent experience (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of survey equipment such as total stations, GPS systems, AutoCAD software
• Experience with data collection software such as ESRI ArcGIS or Trimble Access
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage own workload effectively and meet deadlines

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct land surveys accurately to identify size, shape, elevation etc., of land parcels
• Record all measurements accurately on appropriate documents
• Analyze collected data using appropriate software
• Prepare reports based on collected data
• Ensure that all work is completed according to professional standards
