We are currently looking for a Barista to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The Barista will serve customers by preparing and serving beverages and food items to customers in an efficient, friendly and professional manner.

Job Description:
The Barista is responsible for providing customer service to customers in a timely and efficient manner while ensuring customer satisfaction. The Barista is expected to greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, prepare the order according to the customer’s specifications and deliver it with a smile. The Barista must be familiar with all menu items, including beverages, food items, ingredients, allergens and nutritional information. The Barista must also ensure that all food safety standards are met at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Greet customers warmly when they enter the cafe
• Take order accurately from customer's specifications
• Prepare beverages such as coffee, tea or espresso according to customer orders
• Serve food items such as sandwiches or pastries according to customer orders
• Ensure accuracy of all menu items including ingredients, allergens and nutritional information
• Ensure that all food safety standards are met at all times
• Maintain cleanliness of work station throughout shift
• Follow cash handling procedures when accepting payments from customers
• Clean cafe after shift has ended

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent • At least one year of experience working as a barista or in related positions in the hospitality/food service industry • Knowledgeable about coffee brewing techniques such as espresso extraction methods • Knowledgeable about food safety standards for preparing and serving beverages/foods • Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude towards customers • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Team player with the ability to work independently
