Psychiatrist – Doha, Qatar

We are looking for an experienced and professional Psychiatrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent and compassionate patient care services.

The Psychiatrist will be required to diagnose and treat mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, substance abuse issues and personality disorders. They will prescribe medications as needed and provide counseling services to patients. The successful candidate should have a good understanding of the most up-to-date medical treatments and technologies.

To qualify for this role, you must have a Medical degree or equivalent qualification in Psychiatry from an approved medical institution. You must also be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Psychiatrist in Qatar. Previous experience working as a Psychiatrist is preferred but not essential.

The ideal candidate should be able to communicate effectively with patients and their families; exhibit outstanding interpersonal skills; show compassion towards patients; have excellent organizational skills; maintain accurate records of patient progress; demonstrate sound judgement in difficult situations; work well independently or with a team; maintain professional boundaries with patients; adhere to ethical standards of the profession; remain up-to-date on new developments in psychiatry; possess strong problem solving skills and remain organized when managing a heavy workload.
