Mechanical Engineer – Al-Kuwait

We are a leading engineering firm in Al-Kuwait and we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and maintaining mechanical products, equipment and machinery. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

The successful applicant will need to have excellent problem solving skills and be able to identify and resolve complex engineering problems. They should have good technical knowledge of various materials, manufacturing processes and mechanical components. Additionally they must be able to understand customer needs and be able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities include:
• Designing, developing, installing and testing mechanical components, equipment and machinery
• Developing maintenance plans for mechanical products and equipment
• Managing projects related to mechanical engineering activities
• Planning the implementation of new systems
• Ensuring accuracy of technical documents such as drawings, schematics and bills of materials (BOMs)
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in technology related to the field
• Overseeing production activities in accordance with quality standards

The ideal candidate should possess:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or similar role
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Good understanding of various materials, manufacturing processes, mechanical components etc.
• Knowledge of relevant software (CAD/CAM)
