Optometrist Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be able to provide comprehensive eye care services, including prescribing corrective lenses, diagnosing and treating eye diseases, and testing for visual acuity. The Optometrist should have excellent communication skills and be able to explain vision problems and solutions in a way that is easy for patients to understand.

The ideal candidate will possess a Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited school, as well as a valid optometry license for Abu-Dhabi. A minimum of two years' experience in a clinical setting is preferred, along with knowledge of the latest vision technologies.

Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive eye exams and make accurate diagnoses
• Provide advice on the selection of eyeglasses or contact lenses
• Advise patients on their vision needs and any necessary lifestyle changes
• Prescribe corrective lenses or other treatments as needed
• Detect signs of disease or other conditions through tests such as glaucoma screenings
• Monitor the progress of ocular disorders or disease treatments
• Educate patients on topics such as healthy vision habits or contact lens safety
• Maintain accurate patient records and other paperwork
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications:
• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution licensed by Abu-Dhabi • Valid optometry license from Abu-Dhabi
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of the latest vision technologies
