Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Perform all welding tasks according to established standards and specifications
• Inspect welds for accuracy and compliance with applicable codes
• Maintain all necessary records of inspection results
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
• Operate welding machinery efficiently
• Read blueprints accurately and ensure accuracy of welded parts
• Troubleshoot welding issues such as poor weld quality or incorrect weld size
• Maintain a clean work area at all times
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent certification in Welding Technology
• At least 2 years of experience in welding processes and techniques
• Ability to read blueprints accurately
• Valid certification from an approved authority
• Excellent interpersonal skills
