Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and reliable truck driver to join our team in Zayed City. The successful candidate must be able to transport goods safely, accurately, and in a timely manner. This individual should have excellent knowledge of the local roads and be able to operate the truck in a safe manner at all times.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Transport goods from point A to B in a safe and timely manner following all local laws
• Inspect trucks before and after each trip
• Ensure that all shipments are properly loaded, secured, documented, and delivered on time
• Perform routine maintenance on the truck such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, brakes etc.
• Ensure that cargo is properly loaded for safety purposes
• Complete paperwork for each delivery including delivery records and log books
• Maintain communication with dispatch office to receive instructions
• Adhere to company policies as well as local, state/provincial, and federal regulations

Qualifications & Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CDL license with good driving record (Class A/B) required
• Familiarity with DOT regulations related to vehicle operation preferred
• At least 2 years of experience operating heavy trucks in a commercial setting preferred
• Ability to operate hand tools such as jackhammers for loading/unloading cargo
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
