Accountant in Abu-Dhabi, UAE


We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all activities. This position requires excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate record keeping of the financial operations of the company
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, projections and budgets
• Develop and implement efficient accounting policies and procedures
• Analyze financial information to detect irregularities or discrepancies
• Prepare financial reports in accordance with accepted accounting standards
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable records with general ledgers
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• At least 4 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment
• Proficient understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) regulations and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of financial software programs such as QuickBooks Excel, etc.
• Exceptional mathematical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
