The role of Auto Electrician includes the following duties:
- Diagnosing faults in electrical systems of vehicles
- Working with vehicles’ wiring harnesses, relays, switches and other components
- Installing new electrical systems or parts in vehicles
- Testing parts to ensure that they meet safety standards
- Preparing estimates for repair costs using specialised equipment such as tester/analyzer

The successful candidate should have the following skills:
- Professional knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
- Ability to read wire schematics and diagrams
- Proficiency in using testing/analyzing equipment such as multimeter/oscilloscope etc.
- Good communication skills in order to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
