Librarian Vacancy in Ajman

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Librarian to join our team in Ajman. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in a library setting. This position offers a competitive salary of 1600 AED and we are open to considering immigrant candidates.

The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing the library's resources, including books, magazines, newspapers, databases, and other media materials. They will also be responsible for helping patrons find the information they need, as well as providing technical assistance when necessary. Additionally, they will be responsible for cataloguing new materials and updating existing records in order to maintain a comprehensive collection of library assets.

The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. They should also have strong organizational skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Familiarity with the principles of library science is essential in this role and prior experience with computerized library systems is preferred but not required.
