Job Description:
The Instrument Technician is responsible for making sure that all instruments and equipment within a facility are in proper working order. They inspect, maintain, calibrate, repair and install various types of measuring and controlling devices that include but are not limited to transmitters, transducers, controllers, thermocouples and pressure gauges. The Instrument Technician also troubleshoots malfunctions using electrical schematics or other diagrams. In addition to this they also understand blueprints, drawings and sketches in order to properly install new systems or repair existing ones.

Requirements:
The successful candidate must have 3 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in a similar role. They must be able to read blueprints, drawings and sketches in order to properly install new systems or repair existing ones. They must also be familiar with measuring and controlling devices such as transmitters, transducers, controllers, thermocouples and pressure gauges so they can inspect, maintain, calibrate or repair any issues that arise. Fluency in English is preferred but not required.
