Electrical Engineer in Dubai, UAE


We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Dubai. This position is responsible for providing technical engineering services related to the design, planning and implementation of electrical systems. The successful candidate should have a thorough knowledge of electrical engineering principles and techniques, as well as be proficient in the use of relevant software applications.

The Electrical Engineer must be able to work independently and in teams, with strong problem solving and analytical skills. They must also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present technical information in a clear manner, both to colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities:
-Developing and designing electrical systems for various projects
-Ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards and regulations
-Conducting research into existing products and trends in the field of electrical engineering
-Preparing plans, reports, specifications, drawings and cost estimates
-Testing systems during installation or maintenance to ensure they function properly
-Overseeing installation or maintenance projects to ensure they are completed safely, on time and within budget
-Training staff on how to use electrical systems properly
-Resolving customer complaints regarding electrical system performance
-Providing technical support to other departments as needed

Needs for Candidate:

A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required for this position. Candidates should also have at least 5 years of experience working as an Electrical Engineer or similar role. Certification from a professional organization related to the field may also be beneficial. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong problem solving skills; the ability to work independently as well as part of a team; proficiency with relevant software applications; familiarity with applicable codes, standards and regulations; knowledge of current trends in the field; experience training other staff on how to use electrical systems; customer service experience; excellent organizational skills; attention to detail; ability to work under pressure; strong analytical skills; project management experience; good interpersonal skills.
