Petroleum Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Petroleum Engineer for a position in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing oil and gas projects and equipment, as well as monitoring production operations. This position offers a competitive salary of 1200.
The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in petroleum engineering or related fields. Knowledge of drilling, production engineering, reservoir engineering, reservoir simulation, economic evaluation and project management is necessary to succeed in this role. The ability to work with a variety of people and teams is also essential. We are open to considering foreign candidates for this role.
The Petroleum Engineer is expected to design and develop systems that ensure the safe operation of oil extraction processes; analyze data from production operations to maximize efficiency; develop plans for well testing; monitor the performance of drilling operations; supervise the construction and installation of equipment; assess new technologies; develop safety protocols; monitor production costs; provide technical support for other departments within the organization; research new methods for improving oil extraction processes; collaborate with other engineers on projects; and prepare reports on project progress.
Applicants should possess strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, sound decision-making skills, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team, knowledge of industry standards and regulations relating to oil extraction processes, and familiarity with computer software used in data analysis.
