Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of dental problems in both adults and children. This includes routine checkups as well as performing surgeries such as root canals or dental implants when needed. The successful candidate will take detailed medical histories of patients; recommend treatment plans; fill cavities; place sealants; remove plaque buildup; educate patients on proper oral hygiene; perform diagnostic tests; counsel patients on diet choices that affect their oral health; provide preventive care advice; refer patients to specialists when necessary; maintain accurate records of patient care; take x-rays; use materials such as bonding agents or fluoride varnish to protect teeth from decay and discoloration; administer local anesthesia when needed; insert temporary restorations like crowns or bridges when necessary.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a degree in dentistry or equivalent field from an accredited university along with three years’ experience as a dentist in a clinical setting. A valid license from the Dental Council is required along with knowledge of appropriate safety standards and regulations. The successful candidate should also possess excellent communication skills along with good organizational abilities, attention to detail, patience and compassion towards patients of all ages. Knowledge of the latest advancements in the field is preferred but not essential for this role.
