We are seeking an experienced and motivated Optometrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients while ensuring that they receive the best possible care.

The successful applicant will have a thorough understanding of the principles and practices of optometry, including the diagnosis and treatment of vision problems. They should also be highly knowledgeable in current technologies and treatments, as well as being familiar with the latest trends in the field.

The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a strong work ethic. They should be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities:
• Carry out routine eye examinations on patients, including visual acuity tests, refraction tests, colour vision tests and slit lamp examinations
• Diagnose vision problems and provide appropriate treatment plans
• Prescribe glasses or contact lenses based on patient needs
• Monitor patient health conditions by tracking changes in vision over time
• Educate patients on proper eye care techniques and recommend preventative measures
• Refer patients to other medical professionals when necessary
• Keep accurate records of patient visits and treatments

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or related field required
• Current professional license from an accredited institution preferred but not necessary (in some countries)
• Experience working in an optometric setting preferred but not necessary
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff and patients
